NOVAFIT
NOVAfit! is ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University's health and wellness initiative that all faculty and staff are welcome to join.
Our program includes personal health assessments, access to health coaches and a website with support tools and resources. While participation is completely voluntary and your privacy is protected, we strongly encourage everyone to participate and take advantage of the benefits the program has to offer. Together, we can work towards making ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ a healthier community.Â
The NOVAfit! App
As we continue to develop the NOVAfit! programming we are proud to announce the NOVAfit! App! will provide full-time benefit eligible faculty and staff to track their participation throughout the Fall and Spring semesters to work their way towards achieving incentives. The wellness incentive program is designed to help you improve your health and wellness, increase workplace wellness, and create a culture of health and wellbeing through an holostic approach.
App Store
1. Access the app store on your phone and search for "Power Apps" and download.
2. Once downloaded, you will need to sign in using your villanova email and password to access Power Apps. This will take you through the Single Sign On process.
3. At the bottom of the home screen, tap on "All Apps" and scroll until you see NovaFit App.
4. Tap on the "..." on the right side. This will bring up an option to favorite the NovaFit App. Select "Favorite" to add the NovaFit App to your Power Apps homescreen.
Full-time Benefit Eligible Faculty and Staff may receive points through their participation of NOVAfit! events during the Fall and Spring Semester. To receive your NOVAfit! points, eligible faculty and staff must submit their participation on the NOVAfit! App.
How to Submit Event Participation
- Enter the NOVAfit! App through the hyperlink. This will take you through the Single Sign On process for entry.
- Select "Get Started" on the NOVAfit! Homescreen..
- Click the "+" tab in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click the "Please Select Event You Attended" drop down and select the event you participated in.
- Click the "Please Verifty You Participated" drop down and select "Yes".
- To submit, Click the "Check Mark" in the top right corner of app to submit your event participation.

The NOVAfit! Reward system is based on a tier system through the number of points completed. Points must be submitted through the NOVAfit! App by Friday, Dec. 13th, 2024 in order to receive incentives.
Tier 1- 150 points completed: $15 reward to bookstore
Tier 2- 200 points completed: $25 reward to bookstore
Tier 3- 250 points completed: $35 reward to bookstore and entry to raffle for Apple Watch and Fitbit Versa

NOVAfit! programming pulls together resources from across the University so that our employees and their families can live their lives to the fullest. is the University's wellness portal. Through Wellbeats, you have access to:

Classes are available 24/7 and are for all ages, levels, abilities and interests.
HEALTH COACH
Sometimes, you just need a quick answer to a health-related question that doesn’t require immediate medical treatment or a physician visit. Health Coaches are registered nurses who are available 24/7 to answer your health-related questions and address your concerns.Â

Wellness Rooms
ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ employees enrolled in a ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ sponsored medical plan are offered six free nutrition counseling sessions per plan year with any dietitian approved as an IBX provider. Schedule an appointment with ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥'s employee wellness dietitian.

STAFF APPRECIATION
Each year, ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ hosts a Staff Christmas Lunch in December and a Staff Appreciation Week in May which includes a staff picnic.
EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS
Employee Resource Groups (ERG), sometimes referred to as affinity groups, are used to provide support and engagement to University employees. These groups may focus on specific interests or identities and offer a variety of experiences, but they are not closed groups, and they welcome supporters and allies. ERGs function as a structure within ODEI and work in coordination with Human Resources.
