REAL ESTATE - MAJOR OR MINOR

student talking in class

As a Real Estate major or minor at VSB, you will develop an understanding of real estate investment, development, modeling, capital markets, accounting and law, as well as the role of real estate in corporate strategy and the global economy. The curriculum incorporates site visits, case studies, expert perspectives and industry-standard software tools so that you learn how the theory ties to practice. Your course projects will include completing valuations for actual retail centers and office buildings, and a capstone development project that includes site selection, market analysis, project completion and resale.

To start, you must complete the core curriculum and business curriculum along with the major requirements and electives.

You must complete the core curriculum and business curriculum plus your major requirements, along with the two required minor courses and one elective.

Note: Starting Class #2025, all VSB minors, including  REAL minor, require three unique courses to complete the minor requirements.
