A MESSAGE FROM ASSOCIATE DEAN FILLIAN

DEDICATED TO YOUR SUCCESS

Welcome to the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ School of Business!

We develop the next generation of business leaders to make the world a better place.  From the boardrooms of the most distinguished businesses around the world, to the incubation labs of the next cutting-edge entrepreneurial startups or working with organizations and governments for positive social impact, our graduates are instrumental in advancing both the global economy and the Augustinian values of truth, community and service to others.

The undergraduate program is academically rigorous yet steeped in practical real-world experiences designed to prepare well-balanced, restless, ethical and globally minded executives.  Alongside the specialized and innovative academic programs we offer, VSB’s curriculum prepares students to excel in all aspects of business.  Our faculty serve as mentors for students in addition to being teacher-scholars and advancing the latest knowledge.

A signature and integral part of the VSB educational experience the Backpack to Briefcase (B2B) professional development curriculum provides a structured pathway designed to achieve career success after graduation.  In addition to receiving individualized coaching and a recruiter-ready portfolio, our students learn the skills to network, execute an effective elevator pitch, and take part in a case competition.  As a result, coupled with our relationships with top firms and alumni around the world, 99 % of students obtain a significant internship, with 70% of full-time job offers originating from that internship.  What’s more, 98% of VSB students secured opportunities within six months of graduation.

Our greatest differentiator is the VSB community of care supporting your journey. The Clay Center Academic Advising and O’Donnell Center for Professional Development teams work tirelessly to personally guide and support each of our students to ensure a best-in-class student experience.

Explore our student business societies and the myriad opportunities to engage in our world; I invite you to experience all that is VSB and ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥.
