VIRS Research Participation System (Sona)
The research participation system is a web-based software tool, offered by Sona Systems. ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ researchers can use it to manage human subject participation in IRB-approved studies. The system can be used to recruit and vet participants, schedule meetings, and to link to online surveys on other platforms, such as Qualtrics. Participants can use the system to view available studies and register for in-person or online participation.
Labarchives
Effective immediately, faculty, staff, and student researchers are eligible for free access to the Electronic Research Notebook (ERN), LabArchives. Despite its name, this ERN platform is useful to more than just lab scientists. It simplifies workflow for researchers in any field who need to record and organize notes, store and analyze digital data, and share research data with collaborators at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ or other Universities.

Qualtrics is an online survey tool that allows one to build surveys, distribute surveys and analyze responses. ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ has a university-wide liscense that allows all ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ns to take advantage of this powerful online tool.
