Funding to support compelling research, scholarship, and creative projects across all disciplines

The UNITAS Faculty Research Program supports scholarly research that focuses on issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion. In particular, this program supports research that responds to the goals of diversity outlined in the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Diversity Statement. The VERITAS Faculty Research Program supports scholarly research that takes inspiration from and/or reflects the values of ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University's Catholic and Augustinian heritage. The program is administered jointly by VIRS and the Office of Mission and Ministry. Read more

The University Summer Grant (USG) Program provides support to faculty to engage in research, scholarly activities and creative artistic projects. Overarching goals of the USG program are to foster the intellectual development of faculty and to facilitate faculty efforts to achieve national and international recognition in their scholarly field. The University Conference Travel Grant (UCTG) Program offers limited funding of up to $2,500 to subsidize the cost of qualified conference travel. Learn more.

The Small Research Grant (SRG) Program focuses on funding programs of research, scholarly, and/or creative activity in areas for which other funding is not commonly available. The program supports projects from any discipline that can be significantly advanced with a relatively small investment. Exploratory and early-stage projects are especially welcome. The Research Catalyst Grant (RCG) provides up to $35,000 for early-stage, collaborative, interdisciplinary research/scholarly projects and creative endeavors.
