The ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University NROTC unit conducts several events throughout the academic year, which are open to families, alumni, faculty and the general public.

ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University will be hosting a unique opportunity in summer 2024 for rising high school juniors and seniors to get a preview into the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program. The ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ NROTC Summer Seminar is a 4-night/4-day on-campus experience, providing young men and women a better understanding of the balance between college life and the NROTC scholarship commitment. Topics and activities will include

  • general military training,
  • exposure to college classes and facilities,
  • physical fitness,
  • a trip to a historic landmark near Philadelphia, 
  • workshops on best practices for both college and NROTC applications

Acceptance emails will be sent out the week of May 15, 2024. The program fee is  $625, which includes housing and meals throughout the program. Travel details, packing list, and amplifying information will be provided upon acceptance into the program.

  • Rising high school junior, high school senior or current college student interested in the program
  • Physically fit
  • Sports physical completed between 01 May 2024 and 23 June 2024
  • Excel in Academics
  • An interest in military service

*In keeping with ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ policy, all camp participants must be fully vaccinated prior to the start of the camp.

Fall Parade 2022

ANNUAL EVENTS

Military Excellence Competitions (MECs) are events where military units can compete against one another in physical activities and military skills. NROTC units from all over the region attend, creating a high level of competition while fostering camaraderie and teamwork amongst future coworkers and shipmates.

The Fall Ball is held each year during October or November to commemorate the founding of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. It is a military and social gathering that includes ceremonial drill and cake cutting, dinner, drinks, dancing and music.
