Faculty and staff in the Department of Education and Counseling are dedicated to facilitating students’ learning and professional development during and after their time at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥. Faculty are devoted teachers and passionate scholars. Committed to teaching excellence, our faculty apply pedagogical best practices in teacher and counselor education and serve as models of the reflective practitioner. Inside and outside the classroom, faculty provide academic mentorship and career guidance as students contemplate their next steps after graduation. Department staff likewise offer individualized support and help students navigate the licensure and certification processes. In addition to teaching and research, our faculty are actively engaged in service at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥, in their local communities, and in professional organizations.
