SECOND ANNUAL STATE AND LOCAL TAX FORUM: JUNE 6

Join us as experts discuss the most pertinent SALT issues of the day. This year's topic is "State Taxation of a Digital Economy," which will answer critical questions of what is taxable in the digital economy, which states can tax (and how much of) it, what legislators can do to reduce uncertainty and how judges might rule on these issues.

The ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Charles Widger School of Law recently announced the John H. Buhsmer Esq. '84 Endowed Professor of Law. The new position is made possible by a $1.5 million gift from John (Jack) Buhsmer ’84 JD, ’89 LLM. Professor Leslie Book, a national authority on tax procedure and tax administration, is the inaugural professorship holder.

ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Graduate Tax Program Launches International Tax Certificate

Beginning in fall 2024, ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University will offer a new certificate in International Tax, expanding upon the professional offerings within the Charles Widger School of Law and its Graduate Tax program. The certificate will provide an additional credential for advanced tax specialists to further their technical knowledge and skills in an evolving field.
