Graduate Student Funding Opportunities
Below you will find a list of funding opportunities available to graduate students across the University. Please note that these funding opportunities come in several forms and you should make sure you understand the type of position to which you are applying:
- Graduate Assistantship (tuition remission + stipend)
- Tuition Scholarship (tuition remission only)
- Graduate Assistant Hourly (GAH) (hourly pay only, no tuition or stipend)
IMPORTANT: The majority of ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s funding opportunities for graduate students come from the departments, and most graduate programs on campus have departmental funding. The positions listed on this page require a separate application process, and are outside of academic departments in various centers, offices, and institutes across campus. Please read the descriptions, deadlines, and application requirements listed here carefully—especially since each one is different.
Please keep in mind that if you are an applicant to a graduate program and have not yet received an admission decision you can proceed in applying to the below positions. However, if you are not admitted to the graduate program of your choice at any point during the application process for the below funding opportunities your application for funding will no longer be considered.
FALL 2024 OPENINGS
- Description: The Office of the Registrar is seeking a graduate student for the role of Project Coordinator on our Communications Team to support the office with a variety of projects and responsibilities including creating content for a community newsletter, formatting and designing a newsletter within a communication software tool, preparing mass email reminders for students and faculty, updating the office webpages, preparing presentation slides, creating materials to promote special events, and maintaining the office communication calendar.
- Compensation: $13/hr
- Eligibility: Applicants should have excellent time-management skills, strong writing and listening skills and the ability to manage a variety of moving parts of a project.. Candidate should have completed an undergraduate degree and currently seeking a ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ graduate program in a writing intensive area, and/or in communications or marketing.
- Additional Information: Applicants with demonstrated engagement in health and well-being activities in their undergraduate institution, who want to expand their skills in facilitating difficult conversations with undergraduate students, and who want to develop strong program evaluation skills should apply.
