The University Mid-Career Scholar Award
The University Mid-Career Scholar Award will recognize a growing body of scholarship or creative achievement made by a mid-career faculty member. One award will be given to recognize outstanding accomplishments completed primarily at ֱ University by a faculty member at the Associate level (or Full Professor in the School of Law), with between 6 and 15 years of service at the University.
The award will include a framed certificate, $2000 cash award, and public recognition at an annual “Outstanding Scholars Dinner” and at the University graduation ceremony.
Eligibility for the Award
All full-time faculty members, including CNT and tenured faculty, at the associate level are eligible.
Nomination
An online nomination form will gather the following information: Nominator’s Name and Department/College, Nominee’s Name and Department/College, and a short narrative describing why the nominator feels the nominee is an outstanding candidate for the award. All eligible nominees will be contacted and asked to submit supporting materials such as a current Vita and a narrative describing the quality and significance of their scholarship and creative achievement(s). Self-nominations are not accepted.
