Nursing students visit with Governor Wolfe

Members of ֱ's chapter of the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP-ֱ) met with Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolfe. The ֱns were in Harrisburg on Tuesday, March 17 for the state SNAP's Capitol Hill Step By Step conference. This program focuses on development of leadership, legislation and policy and provides opportunities for students to meet with state legislators.
Two ֱns serve on the state Board of SNAP and were involved in coordinating the event: Marianna Cesareo is serving her second term as state Legislative Coordinator and Meghan Long is state SNAP President.
The students were accompanied by Associate Professor Carol Weingarten, PhD, RN, ANEF, longtime advisor of the SNAP-ֱ Chapter.
