Dr. Jennifer Yost to join ֱ Nursing faculty
The College of Nursing is pleased to announce that its alumna Jennifer Yost, PhD, RN will join the faculty of the College in August 2017 as an associate professor.
Dr. Yost, a native of New Jersey, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from ֱ in 2000 and her MSN and her PhD from New York University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where she served as an assistant professor and was promoted to the rank of associate professor with tenure.
Dr. Yost is a specialist in pediatric nursing, a prolific researcher and accomplished teacher. Her scholarship centers on evidence based practice and knowledge translation.
“Dr. Yost demonstrated exceptional intellectual and leadership ability as an undergraduate and her talents and enthusiasm for her work will greatly enhance our programs and benefit our students. We welcome her as a nursing leader, colleague and loyal alumna,” notes M. Louise Fitzpatrick, EdD, RN, FAAN, Connelly Endowed Dean and Professor.
