Fellowship and Awards for Student Veterans

Selected Awards

This program empowers military veterans and spouses to be the next generation of private and public sector leaders. It provides academic scholarships, access to a national network of scholars, and professional development opportunities. 

This program provides grants for research on American foreign policy, international relations, international security, military policy, and diplomatic and military history. 

This one-year fellowship program is for student veterans who are interested in foreign policy. The program includes a 3-day course at NYU, a mentorship program, and professional development events around the U.S. with the goal to develop foreign policy leaders. 

Students who are enrolled in political science, history, communications, government, law or related disciplines are eligible. Grantees are provided the opportunity to attend the VFW National Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. All expenses are covered by the fellowship.
