YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM

The Yellow Ribbon Program offers participating students additional funding towards the cost of tuition and fees.  

ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ will fully fund the tuition and fees for up to 85 qualifying students for the 2024-2025 academic year. Breaking down that number (85), this is how the benefit will be applied at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥: 50 undergraduate students, ten College of Professional Studies students, 20 graduate students and five law school students will be eligible for funding covering tuition and fees.

Requirements

ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥'s Yellow Ribbon Program funds will be awarded to qualifying students on a first-come, first-served basis. To be considered, qualifying students must:

  • Be using Chapter 33, Post-9/11 VA Education benefits at the 100% eligibility level and be a full-time student. Full-time is 12 credits or more undergrad, 6 credits or more graduate, per term.
  • Be accepted for enrollment to a degree program or be currently enrolled in a degree program at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University.
  • Submit an updated Certificate of Eligibility provided to you by the VA to ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University's School Certifying Official (SCO).

Recipients will be selected based upon the date the application is submitted and when all conditions are met.

Approved Students

Students who have been approved for Yellow Ribbon funding will continue to receive the benefit, provided the conditions above are still met. You will not be required to submit a Yellow Ribbon application each term.

However, you will need to submit an  form each term you plan to use your benefits. Students will be contacted by ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥'s Certifying Official (SCO) when they have been selected to receive Yellow Ribbon funds. 

Future Students

Students interested in the Yellow Ribbon Program for future terms must submit an  in order to be placed on the waitlist. Students will be contacted by ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥'s SCO when they have been selected to participate in the program.

If you do not meet the above qualifications or have not submitted your Certificate of Eligibility (COE), your application will not warrant further consideration.
