About the Presidential Scholars Program
Program Oversight
The Presidential Scholars Program (PSP) is managed by the Director of the Center for Research and Fellowships with the advice of a 20-member Advisory Board, 12 of whom also serve as the Chairs of the PSP selection committees. Strategic decisions regarding the Underrepresented Presidential Scholarship for Diversity, Equity, and Social Change are made with the advice and consent of the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The PSP selection committees take a holistic approach in reviewing applicants and look at multiple criteria including academic achievement, civic engagement, creativity, expertise in a particular field, leadership, and resiliency.
