Dear Members of the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Community,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin W. Noller, ’04 CLAS, ’09 MBA, as Vice President for University Advancement, effective immediately. Kevin’s appointment is the result of a national search that attracted a strong pool of applicants from all over the country.

Kevin most recently served as Associate Vice President for Major Gifts at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ and brings nearly 20 years of experience to his new role. As Vice President, Kevin will provide overall leadership and direction for the Office of University Advancement, which includes Alumni Relations, Athletics Development, Annual Giving, Family Engagement and Philanthropy, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Gift and Estate Planning, Stewardship, Special Events, Regional Development and fundraising for ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Colleges and Schools.

A prolific fundraiser with extensive management experience, Kevin has been ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s top-producing advancement team member over the last decade, personally securing more than $100 million of the $1.1 billion raised by ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ over that time. Most recently, he directed ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s major gift program, managing a team of nearly 50 with fundraising responsibilities for the University’s colleges and schools, athletics, parents, regional offices and gift planning. He has been integral to the development of the fundraising opportunities related to our Strategic Plan, Rooted. Restless., and co-led the current campaign feasibility study. Kevin also played a leadership role in ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s comprehensive campaign, For The Greater Great: The ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Campaign to Ignite Change, which closed in 2018 at $760 million—more than $150 million over its goal.

Kevin’s familiarity with and commitment to ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s mission, coupled with a proven track record of securing transformative philanthropic gifts and developing high-performing teams, made him stand out in a very talented group of candidates. I believe he will be a valuable asset to our University leadership team and look forward to working closely with him in this role as we look ahead to ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s next comprehensive capital campaign.

I would like to thank Executive Vice President Roger Demareski for his leadership of the search committee as well as the members—Jen Derry; Ann Diebold; Ray Duffy; Rev. Rob Hagan, OSA; Adele Lindenmeyr, PhD; and former trustees Joe Topper and Nance Dicciani—for their dedication and efforts in identifying the right person for this important University leadership role.

Please join me in congratulating Kevin on his new appointment.

Sincerely,
