Community Connections

Students-discussing-outside-Falvey

The Dr. Terry Nance Center for Dialogue hosts a series of Community Conversations throughout each fall and spring semester. The campus community is invited to meet others and build relationships through dialogic interaction about important current issues in the US. Participants engage in reflection and sharing experiences through the lens of power and identity. They will also listen to others and learn from different perspectives.

Past topics have included: Policing and the Media, Proposed Educational Policies on LGBTQ+ Identities and How we Make Meaning of the Term “Woke.”
