STUDY ABROAD FOR NURSING STUDENTS

Nursing students who study abroad will complete graduation requirements while gaining international experience. During the abroad experience, students explore the health professions from a different perspective, while understanding the successes and challenges of health systems all over the world. On a personal level, students will develop relationships and improve their communication skills.

The Fitzpatrick College of Nursing has partnered with Sacred Heart University's Dingle, Ireland campus to offer an exciting and academically challenging semester abroad.  Students study abroad in the fall semester of their sophomore year, applying for the experience in the spring of their first year.

Interested students should contact their academic advisor as early as possible. In addition, interested students should contact the the Office of Education Abroad to attend a First Step Information Session and meet with an OEA adviser as soon as possible.
