Become a colleague with expert faculty mentors

Your nationally-known professors are experienced, highly-prepared faculty who care about students and encourage high standards of performance in classroom and clinical work. They are experts in their respective fields and the majority hold doctoral degrees. They maintain clinical practice and are involved with many community and professional activities. Our faculty teach you both in the classroom and clinical settings.

You benefit from a low student-faculty ratio--an important component of clinical education.  Starting on your first days of classes, you meet your advisor who provides academic advisement throughout your four years of study, professional role modeling and often lifelong mentoring. This personalized advisement is a hallmark of the 奶糖直播 nursing education.

The professional mentor relationship creates stability and continuity for our students, as well as ongoing contact with a professional role model. Student development 鈥 both personal and professional 鈥 is encouraged. Faculty advise on course selection, career paths, networking, extracurricular activities and available resources. Many of our students form lifelong friendships with the faculty. You are also supported by a student resource advisor as needed.

Students may also have the opportunity to work alongside faculty on research projects or be mentored by them for the student's own work. Students have presented posters and papers at professional meetings and authored or co-authored scholarly papers that have been published in journals.

My View

"The professors really do want you to excel to the best of your abilities.  I鈥檓 participating in an Independent Study with my professor, which includes looking at how military nursing has changed over the last 70 years, and hope to be published in a national nursing journal.鈥
