Graduate Research Assistants
If you are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. or Masters degrees in the research area of nanotechnology, nanomechanics and bioengineering, with the focus on the behavior of nano-/bio-materials and cellular systems at the nano-scales, please contact Prof. Feng.
Graduate students are normally provided tuition waive and stipend support. The research could be experimental studies using the state-of-the-art instruments, theoretical modeling using analytical and computational (molecular and finite element simulations) techniques, or a combination of experimental and modeling techniques.

The students with a Bachelor degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Solid Mechanics, Bioengineering, and Chemical Engineering are welcomed to apply, and other majors are also encouraged to contact.
Undergraduate Research Assistants
If you are a motivated undergraduate student and interested in nanotechnology, especially on explore nano-/bio-materials and cellular biosystmes, please contact Prof. Feng.
Undergraduate students normally get paid or course credit for being a Research Assistant. The research could be experimental studies using the state-of-the-art instruments, theoretical modeling using analytical and computational (molecular and finite element simulations) techniques, or a combination of experimental and modeling techniques. Since the training for using the state-of-the-art instruments and modeling techniques could be time-consuming, the undergraduate Research Assistants are preferred to work in the lab for more than one semester in order to have a deeper exploring in nanotechnology.
