Dr. C. Nataraj Appointed to the Editorial Boards of Two Scholarly Journals
In recognition of his expertise and accomplishments in a number of key research areas, two prominent scholarly journals invited Dr. C. Nataraj, Professor and Chair of Mechanical Engineering, to join their editorial boards in December. As a member of the editorial board for the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems and the Journal of Applied Nonlinear Dynamics, he joins dozens of highly-esteemed researchers from around the world.
"I look forward to representing ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University as part of these global organizations and to the opportunities for collaboration with my U.S.-based counterparts and those abroad," says Dr. Nataraj, who is widely recognized for his expertise and research in the areas of unmanned vehicles, robotics, nonlinear dynamics and prognostics.
In his role on the editorial board for each publication, Dr. Nataraj will help set the direction for editorial content, arrange peer reviews, and evaluate technical submissions of interest to members of the academic and research communities, as well as engineering professionals.
The International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems serves to promote the "latest theoretical and applied research advances in all areas of the robotics field," with topics of coverage including autonomous vehicles; swarm and cooperative robotics; robot cognition, adaptation, and learning; evolutionary robotics; SLAM algorithms, and more. The aim of the Journal of Applied Nonlinear Dynamics is "to stimulate more research interest and attention for nonlinear dynamics and application" in areas such as complex dynamics in engineering, nonlinear dynamical systems and control, economic dynamics and predictions, bio-mechanical systems, and multiscale wave propagation, among others.
