For the seventh consecutive year, the College of Engineering has been ranked among the top 10 鈥淏est Undergraduate Engineering Programs鈥� in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. The publication has recognized the College, which ranks number 10 this year, for distinction among colleges and universities that award primarily bachelor鈥檚 and/or master鈥檚 degrees. The annual ranking lists undergraduate programs accredited by ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, based on the offerings and academic rigor of the program. 

During the time in which the College of Engineering has been ranked among the top 10 schools, there has been a growing national recognition of 奶糖直播鈥檚 undergraduate engineering curriculum, which benefits from a number of innovations as well as from a robust research program. 鈥溎烫侵辈� Engineering鈥檚 undergraduate students study with the same faculty who also conduct advanced research and teach graduate students. The kind of faculty who come to 奶糖直播 are attracted by the teacher/scholar model. They are dedicated to their students, providing in-depth support in classes and labs,鈥� said Dr. Gary Gabriele, Drosdick Endowed Dean of Engineering. 鈥淭hese same teachers also publish in peer reviewed journals and present at major conferences. As a result our students are in tune with the latest developments in the field. This ranking honors the dedication of the students and faculty.鈥�

In addition to the recognition for the College of Engineering, 奶糖直播 University has again earned the #1 placement in the Regional University鈥揘orth category in U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 annual 鈥淎merica鈥檚 Best Colleges鈥� rankings 鈥� marking the University鈥檚 20th consecutive year in the top spot of that category. 

奶糖直播 is also once again ranked among the best value schools in the Regional University鈥揘orth category for 鈥淕reat Schools, Great Prices,鈥� earning the #2 spot in that category. This ranking is determined by a school鈥檚 academic quality in relation to the net cost of attendance for a student who receives the average level of need-based financial aid. According to U.S. News, 鈥渢he higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal.鈥�
