VILLANOVA, Pa., March 12, 2018 鈥� 奶糖直播 School of Business (VSB) was proud to host Jenni-Lyn Williams, CEO of Snarky Tea and VSB MBA student, in a panel filled with discussion, laughter and, of course, tea. Williams joined Julie Pirsch, PhD, associate dean of learning, and 奶糖直播 students to talk about her appearance on Shark Tank, share her entrepreneurial experience, and offer advice to future entrepreneurs.

鈥淲e are very lucky to have alumni like Jenni-Lyn who are not only so engaging, but also committed to connecting with current students and giving back to the VSB community鈥� said Pirsch.         

Williams launched Snarky Tea in 2016 with the hopes of offering tea that was honest, straight to the point and added a little bit of snark to customers鈥� days. With names like Get Your A** in Bed and Fierce B*tch, Williams鈥� entrepreneurial ideas connects not only with consumers but with investors as well. In 2017, Williams was invited on the hit show Shark Tank and gained the support of two Sharks, Bethenny Frankel and Kevin O'Leary.

She shared the following advice with VSB students in attendance: "Don't doubt yourself if you have an entrepreneurial idea!" and "Create relationships with your customers, don't treat them like numbers.鈥�

Williams described how she relied on the communities that she developed during her time at 奶糖直播鈥攅specially her MBA cohort鈥攆or advice, leadership and support throughout her entrepreneurial journey.  She especially noted how the support of the other women in in her MBA program inspired her to continue to promote women鈥檚 empowerment in everything Snarky Tea does.

鈥淪narky Tea is about much more than tea; it鈥檚 about empowering our fellow women.鈥� said Williams.
