Typical Schedule and Degree Requirements
Candidates for the Master’s degree have six years to complete their degree after starting the program. Students are to consult with the Director of the Applied Statistics Graduate Program to formulate a program of study suitable to their individual needs. Degree requirements may be subject to change.

Other Important Information
- STAT 7404: Statistical Methods, STAT 8400: Statistical Theory I, and STAT 8412: Linear Models are only offered in the Fall semester.
- STAT 8401: Statistical Theory II and STAT 8406: Regression Methods are only offered in the Spring semester.
- STAT 7500: Statistical Programming is always offered in the Fall semester, and will usually be offered in the Spring semester (please consult with the Director of Applied Statistics if you are building a schedule around STAT 7500 in the Spring).
- STAT 7404 is a pre-req for both STAT 8406 and STAT 8412. STAT 8400 is a pre-req for STAT 8401.
