MESSAGE FROM REV. JOHN P. STACK, OSA VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT LIFE
January 22, 2021
Dear Student, I look forward to welcoming you back to campus for the start of a new semester. As a community, we were able to complete the fall semester successfully and safely on campus. I am confident we are ready to meet the challenge once again. Given the current severity of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ability to remain on campus will continue to hang in a fragile balance during the spring semester—keeping the University open is not guaranteed. As was the case this fall, the only way to successfully finish the semester and allow the Class of 2021 to have an in-person graduation is if to put Community First. Working together, we have done it before and we can do it again with your support and participation. The University’s , which includes the CARITAS Commitment, remain in effect for the Spring 2021 semester. It is imperative that you familiarize yourself with these guidelines as they set the expectations for the next three and a half months. If you do not think you will be able to comply with these guidelines, we ask that you not return to campus and learn remotely. Those who choose to violate the CARITAS Commitment may face suspension from the University. Recommit to Community First Before returning to campus, you must complete form, as all students are expected to follow health and safety guidelines and pledge to put Community First at all times during the spring semester. This form also requires you to certify participation in the mandatory pre-arrival COVID-19 testing program. You must complete this agreement in order to be permitted on campus. Thank you for doing your part to ensure another successful semester at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥. It will not be easy, but ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ns are resilient, and we will persevere together. If you have questions or concerns, please email info@villanova.edu. Sincerely, |
