MLK JR. DAY OF SERVICE
MLK JR. DAY OF SERVICE
January 18, 2025: Celebrating Our 18th Year!
Make this a holiday where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to improve lives, bridge social barriers and move our nation closer to the "Beloved Community" that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. envisioned. Join members of the University community to volunteer throughout Greater Philadelphia and on our campus.
Thank you to our 2023 Bronze Sponsor:
MLK DAY OF SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
The MLK Day of Service's off-campus component began when several Black students were inspired to give back to their respective communities in Philadelphia. Over more than 15 years, it has grown into a service initiative that partners with multiple locations in the Greater Philadelphia area. Recently, up to 32 community locations have been served.
Beautifying a community hall or church, serving food or participating in a community activity to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy are just a few examples of activities that have taken place at off-campus locations. Working with groups that have similar missions allows volunteers the opportunity to participate in meaningful service while strengthening relationships.
Become a sponsor of this year's Martin Luther King Day of Service—your sponsorship is fully tax-deductible.
