Trina Das, PhD, directs the Office of Decision Support and Data Integrity, providing leadership with cross-functional data-informed strategies to help shape institutional planning and decision-making at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥. Reporting to the Provost, she provides strategic administrative leadership, effective management, and expertise related to reporting and analytics, data infrastructure and data governance. She works closely with administrative and academic leaders to forecast, assess and support the growing data needs and continue to develop effective data-driven strategies to enable senior leadership to achieve goals and to meet the University’s data reporting needs. In addition, Dr. Das conducts and manages several strategic analytics projects related to faculty compensation, college rankings, peer benchmarking, undergraduate admissions yield and financial aid analysis, post-graduate outcomes and graduate student recruitment analytics as well as provides data support for multiple NSF grant projects.
Dr. Das previously served as Director for Policy and Planning Analysis at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥, performing sophisticated research and quantitative analytics in support of the University’s long-term strategic planning. In this role, she directed, executed and supervised quantitative and qualitative research projects relating to ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s operations; conducted analysis, modeling and forecasting studies, interpreted findings, organized and presented conclusions and consulted with faculty members and all levels of administration.
Before joining ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ in 2016, Dr. Das was Director of Enrollment Analytics at Bryn Mawr College and Associate Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Holy Family University. She previously spent ten years as an enrollment management analytics specialist and consultant with Maguire Associates, a private research-based consulting firm specializing in higher education.
Dr. Das holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Clark University and an MSc and BSc in Economics from the University of Calcutta.
Sarah is responsible for administering the University-wide data governance program that aligns with the University's strategic initiatives to support data-informed decision-making and enhanced institutional effectiveness. She is heavily engaged with the implementation efforts of the university data platform. In addition, Sarah continues to fulfill and support verification and timely completion of various external data surveys related to rankings, accreditation, consortiums, and mandatory federal and state requirements. She does this in close collaboration with data trustees, data domain stewards, operational data stewards and other support and operational units including University IT and the Office of Internal Audit.
Previously, Sarah was Director of Business Analytics for Enrollment Management at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥, responsible for external reporting for the division as well as supporting various student-related analytical initiatives where ensuring accuracy and transparency is of the utmost importance. She was a member of the Information Management Group for 11 years in data and process-focused roles that continually worked to improve the availability to information.
Sarah earned a Master's in Public Administration from ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University and her BS in Liberal Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Seema is responsible for supporting the University’s internal and external cyclical compliance reports and ad hoc reporting and verification requirements, leveraging the University’s newly built data analytics platform. She plays a key role in developing comprehensive documentation and templates to detail the reporting standards and protocols of reporting institutional data while enhancing efficiency and ensuring the accuracy of the process. In conjunction with colleagues on the ODSDI team, she builds and maintains dashboards and analytical reports to support data-informed decision-making. She supports data governance efforts by partnering with operational data stewards in business units and colleges to create standardized and consistent data definitions, resolve data issues, improve usage and verify data accuracy and completeness.
Previously, Seema was a Data Analyst for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Student Assessment Services team. She managed large and complex public education datasets and conducted analyses of sensitive data to inform high-level education policy decisions. She pioneered the Student Assessment Service team’s data visualization software and developed and administered annual web-based surveys to school administrators and students to gather information on their standardized testing experience.
Seema earned her Master’s in Education Policy and Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and her BA in Economics from Wellesley College.
Timothy is responsible for supporting the implementation efforts and coordinating the maintenance of databases in the newly developed centralized data and analytics platform. He works closely with university data stewards in key business units to develop new data models and KPI dashboards, fulfill ad hoc data requests and analytics projects, as well as support the completion and documentation of various external data reporting.
Previously, Timothy was IT Systems Analyst- BI Developer at CertainTeed. Responsible for the development of global Qlikview dashboards with a focus on manufacturing supply chain, operations and demand planning, and customer service. Timothy also has experience in BI reporting in the Health Insurance industry and operations experience in the finance industry.
Timothy earned a Master's in Mathematics from ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University and his BS in Mathematics from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. He is working on an MBA degree from ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University.
