ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥’s newest college is based on one of the University’s foundational principles: meeting the unique needs of students at every stage of their educational journey. The College of Professional Studies, established in 2014, builds on a more than century-long commitment to adult learners.
FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: Therese DeVries Narzikul, MBA, MSN, CRNP brings a wealth of experience to CPS classrooms
Therese Narzikul, EDd joined the faculty at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University's College of Professional Studies as Professor of the Practice in 2023, bringing along a wealth of experience in the business and healthcare sectors. She'll use that expertise to teach a variety of courses within CPS, having previously worked with both ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ School of Business and The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing.
FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: Alexis Coulter, PhD Joins CPS to further her passion for teaching and learning
Alexis Coulter, PhD joined ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥'s College of Professional Studies as Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Fall semester of 2023. She brings a wide array of experience, in both higher education and the non-profit sector, with particular expertise in organization development and behavior.

ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University's College of Professional Studies (CPS) has added two full time faculty members, Alexis Coulter and Therese Narzikul. The increase allows CPS to build a stronger academic community and offer students a richer, more evolved learning experience.
ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Paralegal Professional Certificate Program Offers Updated Requirements and Timeline to Increase Accessibility for Students
ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University's College of Professional Studies offers a program designed to train paralegals, with two distinct modalities: a part-time online program and a full-time in person offering. In the spring of 2024, the full-time day program is being amended to offer greater access to the program for a wider group of potential students.
ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Selected to Join Grant-Funded Pilot Consortium Fueled by UPCEA to Expand Pathways to Education
UPCEA, the online and professional education association, announced the selection of ten institutions, including ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University, to be part of a small pilot consortium fueled by UPCEA’s “Building Capacity, Expanding Pathways: Accelerating the Growth of Credential Innovation in Higher Education” project. The project aims to facilitate and expedite the adoption of scalable business and program models by colleges and universities, supporting the development and delivery of noncredit, short-term credentials to local, regional, or statewide businesses.
