SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

Student Walks By Grotto

In the spectrum of educational funding and types of aid, scholarships and grants are the "free money" that is known as gift aid. These funds do not need to be repaid. In general, scholarships are given based on merit, defined by the scholarship program, and grants are given based on demonstrated financial need. A student is considered for Federal, State and ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ need-based grants simply by applying for financial assistance from ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University.

The Office of Financial Assistance administers the awarding of Federal, State and Institutional need-based funding, whereas the Office of Admission administers the awarding of merit-based scholarships.

As a mission driven institution, our foundational Augustinian values compel us to prioritize need-based aid with the hope of creating a more equitable enrollment process.
