MAJOR IN PEACE AND JUSTICE STUDIES

The interdisciplinary curriculum of the Center for Peace and Justice Education is rooted in ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Augustinian tradition of education in the service of peace and social justice, with particular emphasis on the poor and marginalized in society.

Students are prepared to understand the essential elements of a moral and just society, reflect on models for socially responsible resolution of injustice and conflict, and learn the necessary skills to be advocates for a just and peaceful world.

Many PJ courses can count for core requirements and/or electives for another major. To learn more about how to integrate the Peace and Justice major or minor into your course of study, email Director Kathryn Getek Soltis, PhD or come into the office in Corr Hall 106.
