Theology Professors Win 2022 Catholic Media Association Book Awards

Dr. Jonathan Yates earned a first-place Catholic Media Association Book Award for Augustine and Tradition: Influences, Contexts, Legacy.

VILLANOVA, Pa. – ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Theology Professors Jonathan Yates, PhD, Gerald Beyer, PhD, and Ilia Delio, OSF, PhD, earned 2022 Catholic Media Association (CMA) Book Awards, which were presented at the CMA annual conference.

Dr. Yates earned a first-place Catholic Media Association Book Award for Augustine and Tradition: Influences, Contexts, Legacy, which he co-edited with David Hunter, PhD, of the Boston College Department of Theology. Dr. Yates is director of admissions for the doctoral program.

Dr. Beyer earned a third-place award for Just Universities: Catholic Social Teaching Confronts Corporatized Higher Education and Dr. Delio received a third-place award for her book The Hours of the Universe: Reflections on God, Science, and the Human Journey.
