Don H. Liu, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Risk Officer of Target Corporation, to Deliver ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Charles Widger School of Law’s 2022 Commencement Address

ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥, Pa. – Mark C. Alexander, The Arthur J. Kania Dean of ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Charles Widger School of Law, announced that Don H. Liu, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Risk Officer of Target Corporation, will deliver the commencement address to the Class of 2022 and will also receive the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Law Medallion Award in recognition of his achievements. This year’s commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 14 beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the Rowan Campus Green at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University.

Don H. Liu is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Risk Officer for Target Corporation for Target and a member of its executive leadership team. He oversees all legal, risk and compliance, corporate governance and governmental affairs matters for the company. He also serves as Target’s chief compliance officer and corporate secretary.

Prior to joining Target in 2016, Liu was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Xerox Corporation. He also held in-house legal leadership roles at Toll Brothers, IKON Office Solutions, and Aetna U.S. Healthcare. He began his career in private practice, specializing in securities and mergers and acquisitions.

Liu currently serves on the boards of Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. and Haverford College. He is also a member of the American Law Institute and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. He formerly sat on the Comcast Asian American Diversity Advisory Council and the boards of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, where he served as chairman for two years, and MoreBank, an ethnic community bank he helped found.

Mr. Liu and his family emigrated from Korea to the U.S. in 1972. He received his BA in philosophy magna cum laude from Haverford College and his JD from the Columbia University School of Law.
