The Girard-diCarlo Center will host thethird annual Lewis H. Gold ’62 Lecture on Ethics and Professional Responsibility on Wednesday, September 4., author and professor of law at Boston University School of Law, will present “Two AI Truths and a Lie.”

This lecture honors the memory of Lewis H. Gold ’62, an exceptional advocate with a strong sense of ethics. The naming was made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor in collaboration with his family.

Lunch will be provided in limited quantities. For those who wish to join virtually, a livestream link will be available on the webpage on the day of the event.

Woodrow Hartzog is a professor of law and class of 1960 scholar at Boston University School of Law. He is also a faculty associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and a non-resident fellow at The Cordell Institute for Policy in Medicine & Law at Washington University. He is the author ofPrivacy’s Blueprint: The Battle to Control the Design of New Technologies, published in 2018 by Harvard University Press, and the co-author ofBreached! Why Data Security Law Fails and How to Improve It, published in 2022 by Oxford University Press.
