CYBERSECURITY ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ MINOR

Offered jointly through the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computing Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Cybersecurity minor is open to all engineering students who satisfy the prerequisites listed in the official catalog.

This minor:

  • Provides students with a solid foundation in the principles of cybersecurity
  • Equips students with the technical skills and knowledge to address constantly evolving cybersecurity threats
  • Promotes independent study and self-reliance so students can keep pace with rapid technological advancement
  • Prepares graduates to enter the workforce as cybersecurity professionals

College Establishes Cyber Physical Systems Security Laboratory

Established in 2019, this high-tech research and teaching facility supports specialization in the areas of critical infrastructure, industrial control system security and the Internet of Things. Partner Cybati—a cybersecurity curriculum provider—has developed a number of innovative kinetic models that support educational programs through the laboratory.
