MEET THE CLASS OF 2024
In fall 2020, the Class of 2024 began the most unusual academic year in the history of higher education. Through the many challenges, however, they displayed grit, determination and resiliency. We selected a representative group of students from this class whose experiences we will share through their four years.

Olivia Billitto
This Civil Engineering major from Wilmington, DE, says of the transition from high school to college: 鈥淚t鈥檚 not too difficult, mainly because teachers are so willing to help. They really encourage you to go to office hours and ask questions. It鈥檚 nice to know they鈥檙e there for you.鈥�
Andrea Cabot
A native of Puerto Rico, Andrea is pleased with her decision to study Mechanical Engineering. 鈥淪o many opportunities open up with engineering and they鈥檙e not necessarily as technical as I thought they had to be. For example, I鈥檓 considering work in agriculture and sustainable design.鈥�
Julia Duarte
A Computer Engineering major from Old Bridge, NJ, Julia appreciates 奶糖直播鈥檚 commitment to student success: 鈥淪eeing the resources available to you in and out of class, you get a sense of the welcoming community that wants to help you succeed, whether in your studies or as a musician in the band, or as an individual.鈥�
David Fotso
David, a Chemical Engineering major from Cameroon, stayed in the states for most of the summer after his first year. 鈥淚 took part in the INNOVATE program where my team built a prototype of a machine to extract water from the air at a lower cost than what鈥檚 already on the market.鈥�
Rafael Guerrero
The climate was an adjustment for this Electrical Engineering major from Los Angeles, but finding a supportive community was no trouble. 鈥淚 made friends that will last all four years and on, and professors really care and want you to succeed.鈥�
Kylee Hall
A Chemical Engineering major from Bennington, VT, Kylee is a nordic ski racer and has a 12-year-old pet turtle. She stays active in her free time, 鈥渄oing anything outdoors, like playing soccer on West campus.鈥�
Jordin Lamothe
A Civil Engineering major from Newark, NJ, Jordin is interested in structural engineering and would like to have his own business and start a nonprofit. 鈥淲e need to give back and change some things in the world.鈥�
Gabe Lekusky
In his first year, Mechanical Engineering major Gabe from Denver, PA, says 鈥淚 figured out a system to make sure I allot a certain amount of time to club stuff, homework, and personal time to decompress. I also learned the importance of sticking together, helping and relying on each other.鈥�
