Workshops
The SAC24 will have a range of workshops students can attend; which include SumoBot, Arduino, Mandang, Introduction to Software Defined Radio. Each workshop has limited seating. Therefore, students must sign up as soon as possible to attend any workshops.
Competitions
Conference competitions will consist of an ethics competition, SumoBot and other competitions. Each competition has prize money for the winners.
The SumoBot Competition is one of the only competitions at the SAC that allows student teams to face-off directly against each other. Teams will prepare their fighters by building, designing, and coding a robot. The robot must act autonomously once the fight begins, and work to push the enemy robot outside of the arena in a sumo-style battle. The Sumobot Competition Rules will be available soon.
Panels SAC24 will also showcase panels focusing on Student Engagement for students and Vtools Basics & Section Collaboration for staff and counselors.
Registration - Registration Deadline: March 15, 2024
You can register at the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Room in the university's Connolly Center (the Con). Tables for registration in Con will be set up starting at 7:00 am. We are exploring registration at the conference hotel Friday evening.
Student registration includes all SAC events, two nights in a quad room lodging, lunch on Saturday, refreshment breaks, the Women in Engineering Panel and Networking Event, and banquet dinner on Saturday evening.
