Student researchers share their scholarly work at the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Research Symposium
Distilling complex ideas and findings into succinct and accessible presentations for a general audience is a vital skill in academic research. Each November, a growing number of accomplished student researchers sharpen that skill at the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Student Research Symposium—a showcase of student research and a foundational professional development experience.
Hosted by the Center for Research and Fellowships (CRF) for more than a decade, the symposium gives students the opportunity to share their scholarly work with more than 400 attendees through scientific posters or oral presentations. Many of the presenters receive ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Undergraduate Research Fellowships or other fundings from CRF to support research. Several also publish their findings in , a peer-reviewed undergraduate research publication released annually at the symposium.
