ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University Offers New Textbook Access Program to Save Students on Class Materials
Ìý
ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ University and the College of Professional Studies (CPS) seek to offer adult students a chance to earn their degrees at an elite university at a reasonable cost. However, the cost of textbooks and course materials has sometimes made that more difficult.
Moving forward, credit students in the College of Professional Studies will be able to leverage a new textbook access program designed to make textbooks and other course materials more affordable. This program is projected to collectively save ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ students over $1 million annually.Ìý
Under this program, students who opt in will pay a flat rate for their course materials based on the number of credits they take in a year. Please note that any student can opt-out, as this rate may not benefit every learner at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥.
For the 2024-25 academic year:
- Students taking 12 or more credits can elect to pay $275 for their required textbooks.Ìý
- Students taking fewer than 12 credits will pay just $70 to participate in the program.

The ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Textbook Access Program applies to physical and digital textbooks. It is being implemented following a thorough review by the Academic Policy Committee, SGA and Graduate Student Senate representatives, the Council of Deans and the Executive Council.
