COMBINED BA/MA IN CLASSICAL STUDIES
The Combined BA/MA program allows exceptional students to complete a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Classical Studies in five years. In the last year of undergraduate study students take three graduate courses that count toward both their undergraduate and graduate degree. Prerequisites
- Classical Studies major with junior academic status
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Completion of at least 5 courses in Classical Studies
Application Requirements
- Unofficial undergraduate transcripts (uploaded on the Academic History page of the application)
- Statement of Goals (500-700 words). Please address the items below in your Statement of Goals:
- Name and email address
- Whether you plan to attend classes on campus or online (if online, indicate your time zone)
- Describe your interest in Classical Studies (including what areas interest you most)
- Background in Classical Studies (include any Latin or Greek experience and, if so, describe the extent of your experience, etc.)
- Purpose in pursuing a master's degree
- Any additional information you would like to include
