GRADUATE PROGRAM IN CLASSICAL STUDIES
Classical Studies at ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ offers graduate students the opportunity to explore ancient Greek and Latin languages and literature, as well as a variety of aspects of classical civilization and culture.
For more than half a century, ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Classical Studies MA program has helped students deepen their knowledge and appreciation of the Greco-Roman world in all of its richness, diversity and enduring relevance. The program has long been known for providing thorough training in both pedagogical and research methods. Passionate teacher-scholars conduct small seminars in a broad array of subjects - including not only classical languages and literatures but also ancient history, philosophy, political thought, and art and archaeology.
Students may pursue the degree with a focus on Latin, Greek & Latin or Classical Culture. Prospective students may apply for the full MA program or choose to take individual courses as a non-matriculated student.
The graduate Classical Studies program is 100% online, with live, synchronous classes.

The small class sizes in the Classical Studies program allows faculty and students to work together and build a close-knit community as they share ideas and their enthusiasm for the Greco-Roman world. ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥'s online experience fosters a uniquely collaborative environment.
All courses are scheduled once a week in the evenings with live, online class sessions.
A limited number of tuition scholarships are available on a competitive basis to full-time students who begin the program in a fall semester.
Current secondary school teachers can receive tuition discounts from 20% to 40%.
